About

Purpose
To develop an appreciation for the art of quilting and its history, to provide a common organization of persons who love quilts, and to educate the public on the history and artistry of quilt making.

Meetings
2nd Thursday of each month. Business meeting begins at 9:30am.

Membership
Membership is open to any individual residing in the Hot Springs Village area. Guests are welcome to attend 2 meetings before joining. Guests living outside Hot Springs Village must notify a member or the president for gate access prior to meeting day.

Dues
Dues are $35 per year, payable on January 1 of each calendar year. Checks are payable to “Village Quilt Guild” and should be mailed to:

Meeting Agenda
Each month we have a business meeting and program.
Show-and-Tell, held after the program, allows members to show their quilted projects or make relevant announcements.

Programs
Well-known quilters, guild members, area quilt shop owners, or members of other quilt guilds present topics of interest at guild meetings. The December meeting is our annual silent auction and live auction.

Quilting Bees
Approximately 20 small groups get together at least once a month to work on quilting/sewing projects. Bee Listing can be found here.

Charity Quilts
In addition to the social aspect of the VQG, members spend considerable time making quilts for numerous non-profit organizations including, but not limited to, Quilts of Valor, Head Start, and Cooper-Anthony.
