Hand Embroidered Covered Buttons

Class Time: Thursday, October 8th, 12:30 – 3:30, Cost $25
Make beautiful covered buttons with your favorite embroidery stitches. Darlene will provide a variety of ideas suitable for your buttons, or you can design your own. Work on cotton squares and then finish your buttons with a few simple steps. Lovely to add to a quilt, a garment, a bag, a pillow….the choice is yours!
Kit provided with the class fee includes parts to make 3 buttons, needles and needle threader.

Supply List for you to bring to class:
5 – 3”X3” squares of cotton fabric
Embroidery threads in a variety of colors (prefer 8 weight perle cotton or embroidery floss)
Small beads, if you’d like to add some beads
An erasable marking pen (Frixon, chalk, etc.)
Fabric scissors
