The November Quilt Guild Meeting and Auction will be held at BALBOA BAPTIST CHURCH, 415 Ponce de Leon Drive.  The meeting and auction will be held in the classrooms.  There will be no chance of being bumped by a funeral.  October and December meetings will continue to be at Faith Lutheran Church as always.
Calling cards will be handed out at the October meeting.  Please give them to as many people as you can.  They are in packets of 10 so if you need more please ask for more.  Also if you have picked up any auction items from a business please turn them in at the October meeting.
Please bring your auction items to Balboa Baptist Church the day of set up, November 7, from 1-5.  If you can’t bring them then please bring them to the church the day of the auction before the business meeting starts at 9:30.  The auction will start promptly at 10.
We will again be passing out the sign up sheets at the October meeting for help at the auction.
Thank you all for your contributions!
Nola Abraham on behalf of the Auction Committee

Welcome!
We’d love to have you as part of our quilt guild in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. Please go to the “About the Guild” section on the menu to learn more about us. Also, spend some time exploring our Website!

Founded in 1988, the Village Quilt Guild is a social organization whose goal is to develop an appreciation for the art of quilting and its history, to provide a common organization of persons who love quilts, and to educate the public on the history and artistry of quilt making.

From the Auction Committee
The auction committee has begun putting together baskets with miscellaneous items donated thus far for the auction.  If you or your bee would like to put together a basket we have a list of ideas but feel free to come up with an idea of your own.  This basket list of ideas is attached.

If you are interested in donating a service like a dinner for 6 or a class with lunch, please let us know so we can advertise it well in advance of the auction.  We request that groups bidding on such items designate one person to bid and to pay for the item.  Bidder/payer then will collect from the others in the group.

To anyone doing longarm quilting:  We have had some nice quilt tops donated to the silent auction and we are looking for someone to quilt one for a reduced rate or as their contribution to the silent auction.  Please call Charlotte Skelton at 915-0915 if you can help us.

Thank you – Nola Abraham 915-9533, Charlotte Skelton 915-0915.

Our Guild took a trip to the Missouri Star Quilting Company recently. While we were there, Forbes Magazine was doing a feature. See the video here!
