PROGRAM: SKILL BUILDING; Judy Niemeyer Method of Paper Piecing. 

Presented by:  Judy Bowers, certified Quiltworx instructor.

Judy Bowers will present a trunk show of Judy Niemeyer quilts that she has made.

 If you haven’t tried this method of paper piecing, you’re in for a treat.  Her distinctive approach uses templates, speed-cutting techniques, and foundation papers. Judy’s type of paper piecing simplifies the process and minimizes waste. 

Judy will teach 2 introductory classes:  Class Fee: $20.00 each Patterns: $25.00 each

Thursday afternoon 12:30- 3:30: the “Crackers” pattern is a wonky flying geese style block that can create a fun border for panels. It’s an easy introduction to Quiltworx patterns.

Friday, all day 9:00 – 3:00: “Island Sunrise” – learn an effective way to make sharp points and a curved quarter circle. This block can be mixed/matched to create unique patterns, for table toppers, mug rugs – so many possibilities.
